Anticipation...

Greetings Friends and Family

Well, it's getting closer to D-Day (Departure Day), and I'm really starting to get excited. There is so many last minute things to get done before Friday. But that didn't stop me from enjoying an early birthday present from my son and daughter in law (Steve and Destiny). Since I'll be gone by my birthday (March 10) they got Laurie and I a suite at Seven Feathers Casino, and we went up there Sunday and spent the night. We had a great time and came home a couple hundred dollars richer. Thank you Steve and Destiny!

I have had a couple questions/requests regarding my cats (one from my friend Christy). First of all, I have two cats, one male named Tuffy, who is a little over a year old and one female named Cookie, who is at least 17 maybe even 18 years old. Laurie has a cat too, a male named Gray Gray, who is about eight months old. But since he comes over every morning to play with Tuffy he's considered mine too, I guess (my red headed step child, but gray). People want to know more about them and would like to hear how they are adjusting to living in an RV. So, let's hear it straight from the horse's mouth (or in this case, the cat's mouth). Any comments Cookie, Tuffy, and Gray Gray? Are you excited?

I'm used to having a cat door and being able to come and go as I please. I don't like being put in a 'kitty tent' or walking with a halter and leash (I'm not a dog for God's sake). Thankfully, the motorhome is big enough to play chase with Gray Gray.

Hi, I'm Gray Gray and I'm ready for the adventure to begin. I don't mind the 'kitty tent' and I learned to walk on the leash pretty quick. This cat tree is cool and I have one in my  trailer, too. Yep, just call me spoiled.

Well folks, there you have it. That's all for this week. The next time you hear from us we'll probably be in Nevada, or who knows where, but it won't be in Oregon. Til next time.
