A Day Trip

Greetings Friends and Family
Just wanted to post some pictures of a recent day trip that we took. These were taken at a beautiful confederate cemetery in Scottsville, TX. I immediately fell in love with the chapel, unfortunately, it was locked so I couldn't go in. This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained cemeteries I have seen. This confederate memorial stands just inside the gate of the cemetery and has all the names of the confederate soldiers engraved on it. I had to take a picture of the tree because it was so smooth, like it had no bark, that's why I called it a 'naked tree'. These beautiful pink and white flowering bushes were everywhere, they lined the driveway coming into the cemetery, and they smelled so lovely.
