Well, we have been doing some exploring and taking some pics, so instead of writing I'll just give you some pictures with a short comment for each, far more interesting than anything I have to say.

This fountain is cool because it has six different bowls at three different levels, two for people, two for horses, and two for dogs.

The one hour bayou boat tour was interesting, entertaining, and affordable at only $8. Our tour guide, Mary Rose, was very personable and knowledgeable.

The red brick
building on the bank of the river is an old ammunition
warehouse from the civil war era.
