Well, here we are in Stockton, Kansas at Stockton City Park ($13 a night). It's a nice little park with about seven full hookups and a bathroom with shower. There is only one other camper here. We left Medicine Lodge around 10:30 Wednesday morning and arrived here about 2:30pm. The weather forecast said rain but, luckily, we didn't encounter any rain from Medicine Lodge to Stockton, just a lot of wind.
We did, however, get that rain here in Stockton. I was rocking and rolling all night long, and I don't mean music. We had wind gusts up to 30mph with sleet, and this morning we awoke to snow. We had planned on going to Nicodemus National Historic Site today and then just staying in Hill City, Kansas because of the weather. But, the wind is still going strong, so we're here for another day. Maybe Nicodemus tomorrow?
