Hello from El Reno, Oklahoma

Greetings Friends and Family

We are currently in El Reno, Oklahoma, at the Lucky Star Casino. We left Marshall, Texas on Sunday, April 14th at 10am and drove to Thackerville, Oklahoma, where we spent the night at Red River Ranch RV Park. We arrived around 2:30 in the afternoon to find the office closed (I forgot I was in the Bible Belt and almost everything is closed on Sundays). A sign on the door said to just park and pay in the morning, so that's what we did. We set up the kitty tent for Tuffy and Gray Gray but it was so windy they almost blew away. We had to put wood blocks in the tent and bungee it to my back tire (the ground was too hard for stakes).

We left Thackerville this morning at 10am and arrived at El Reno around 1:30 this afternoon. After hooking up the rigs to water and electric we went to 'check in' with security. Lucky Star Casino has about 12 free RV sites with full hookups that you can stay at for free (for up to four days), just register with the security office. After doing that we went and signed up for Players Club cards and got $10 in free slot play. Then we went to 'The Rez' (the casino restaurant) and had the burger and fries for $7. I can eat a lot of food but it was so big that I cut it in half and will have the rest for dinner (the picture doesn't do it justice).
